About the Register of  Deeds Office

The office has one full-time deputy in addition to Monica.

Pepin County Register of Deeds office became computerized in 1994 when we received our first grant through the Land Records Modernization Program. We installed a DOS based Grantor-Grantee and tracting system at that time. In April of 2004 we updated the DOS based system to a Windows version. In 2004 we installed an imaging system and are working on back scanning of our record books up to the time that we entered recordings in the computer.

On November 16, 2010 Pepin County began their Online Documents Website called: Pepin County RODDirect which was discontinued on March 31, 2016. On Friday, April 1, 2016 Pepin County went live with their new Online Documents Website called: Pepin County Land Information Web Portal.
